Official Rules: GORUCK Basic Rucker 17L Giveaway

This giveaway ("Promotion") is sponsored by Ruck Authority ("Sponsor"), located at ruckauthority.com. The Sponsor is solely responsible for all aspects of this Promotion. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) or GORUCK.

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate.

The Promotion begins on March 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time and ends on April 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time ("Promotion Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible. The Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for this Promotion.

Method 1 - Facebook Comment (1 Entry): During the Promotion Period, visit the official giveaway post on the Ruck Authority Facebook Page (facebook.com/ruckauthority) and leave a comment answering the prompt in the post. One (1) entry per person via this method. Comments must be relevant and non-offensive; spam or duplicate comments will be disqualified.

Method 2 - Instagram Comment (1 Entry): During the Promotion Period, visit the official giveaway post on the Ruck Authority Instagram Page (instagram.com/ruckauthority) and leave a comment answering the prompt in the post. One (1) entry per person via this method. Comments must be relevant and non-offensive; spam or duplicate comments will be disqualified.

Method 3 - Newsletter Signup (2 Bonus Entries): During the Promotion Period, subscribe to the Ruck Authority email newsletter at ruckauthority.com/giveaway using a valid email address. Subscribers receive two (2) additional entries. You must be a new or existing subscriber; duplicate signups do not count. Unsubscribing before the winner is drawn forfeits bonus entries.

One (1) Grand Prize: A GORUCK Basic Rucker 17L Tactical Backpack in Black. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $145.00 USD.

Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee by Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about April 9, 2026. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor using a randomized selection tool. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

The winner will be notified via Facebook comment reply, Instagram comment reply, and/or email within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing. The winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification with a valid U.S. shipping address, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.

Winner's first name and state of residence may be announced on the Ruck Authority Facebook page, Instagram page, and website.

By entering, each entrant agrees to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding; (b) release and hold harmless Sponsor, Meta Platforms, Inc., GORUCK, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation in this Promotion or acceptance of the prize; and (c) the use of their first name and state for winner announcement purposes.

Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Promotion and, if opted in, delivering the Ruck Authority newsletter. Sponsor will not sell or share entrant information with third parties for marketing purposes. Email subscribers may unsubscribe at any time after the Promotion concludes.

Any federal, state, or local taxes associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any disputes arising from this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the Sponsor resides, without regard to conflicts of law principles.

Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (b) any technical malfunctions of computer systems, servers, or providers; (c) any injury or damage arising from participation; or (d) entries made by automated means or by third parties on behalf of an entrant without permission.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Promotion if it is not capable of running as planned due to fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control.
